MAYAGEMS launches its BLING DYNASTY COLLECTION, a sparkly, glittering range of specially made wedding designs as seen at the 2009 Sydney Bridal Expo at Darling Harbour in early April.


Susan Storm, the designer behind Mayagems, produced almost one hundred pieces designed specifically to suit the spectacular wedding gowns seen on the catwalk. Susan pushed her creative energies well away from the historical beads she often works with, and incorporated Swarovski crystals, pearls, silver, gold and hand faceted gemstones. She was given creative licence for avant garde designs using unusual wedding colours like purples, blacks, reds, grey and rust. Susan also worked with talented artist Nancy Allen, to produce magnificent hand made silk flowers incorporated into gemstone necklaces and cuffs for a totally new wedding look.
